Partnership Agreements
DAMEC
DAMEC’s mission is to reduce harms related to alcohol and other drugs (AOD) in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities through community development approach.
Under the Memorandum of understanding:
- Cater for group activities and hire halls or facilities
- Provide engagement and support services to the participants
- Monitor the participants’ progress
- Facilitate relevant training for participants
- Allocate a project Officer to oversee the program developed by the two organizations.
ECWA will:
- Identify eligible participates for group and training related to AOD.
- Identify DMEC to support the participants as may be required from time to time.
- Monitor the participants’ progress
- Facilitate relevant training for participants
- Participate in DAMEC research related survey and evaluation related to AOD
SYDWEST
SydWest Multicultural Services assist people who are vulnerable and most in need, such as youth and children, seniors, people with disabilities and humanitarian entrants, with our diverse programs ranging from aged care and disability services to case management for new arrivals, information sessions and support groups.
SYDWEST will:
- Cater for group activities and halls or facilities
- Provide engagement and support services to the participants
- Facilitate and consult community leaders
- Involve and provide relevant training to community leaders
ECWA will:
- Identify eligible participates for group activities and training community leaders .
- Identify SydWest to support the participants as may be required from time to time.
- Participate in SydWest research related survey and evaluation related to AOD
Extra Support Community Service
Extra Support Community Services has been established in response to local community demand for quality disability support services. Extra Support Community Services partner with ECWA to room booking for meeting.
